Bright and early on Sunday the 5th of February a dedicated group of Bunbury Horse and Pony Club members were up before the sparrows to set the course for the first round of the South West Summer Showjumping Series, held at the Bunbury grounds.
Supported heavily by life member Ellen Barclay, the introduction of this series to the Bunbury Pony Club Calendar was well supported with over 100 rounds ridden on the day from heights of 65cm to 115cm. Series rugs, saddle blankets and vouchers galore are available over the three days all very kindly supported by our fantastic sponsors!  Rosettes were award to 3rd place, with ribbons to 6th and everyone had a wonderful time with many riders entering for round 2 on the 26th of February.
Results will be available on the Bunbury Horse and Pony Club website, as well as the up to date leaderboards for the series. Congratulations to all our winners and placegetters!
